Araku Valley is a Hill station in Visakhapatnam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is a valley in the Eastern Ghats inhabited by different tribes.

Araku Valley is a hill station and valley region in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It's surrounded by the thick forests of the Eastern Ghats mountain range.
The Tribal Museum is dedicated to the area's numerous indigenous tribes, known for their traditional Dhimsa dance, and showcases traditional handicrafts.
A miniature train runs through Padmapuram Gardens, with its sculptures and tree-top huts.

is a well-known picnic spot in Araku valley. A scenic place with waterfalls and surrounding forest area makes people relax and spend their holiday joyfully. Usually, people who visit Araku valley won't miss this place as it is very nearer to the main Araku valley place. It is better not to enter into water flow area during rainy season as the water current will be high and dangerous. During the winter season, the water flow is less and people can enjoy their stay here. Landscapes and gardens are located surrounding this place. One can experience the beauty of water gushing through natural rocks

Lammasingi waterfalls in Araku Valley.

Lammasingi Hills is often referred to as Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh. This hill station is situated at about 31 km north from Narsipatnam, perched at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. This is the only place in Southern India, where you can experience snowfall sometimes in winter. Even in seasons other than winter, sunlight falls only after 10 AM in the morning.

The local people are engaged in the pepper and coffee plantations. The cool wind which blows from the forests and valleys of Chintapalli area makes the Lambasingi Hillock cool and foggy. Temperatures during winters remain between 0 and 10 degree Celsius. Some years tempreture goes below 0° C in winters, December and January being the coldest months of the year.

APTDC plans to open a state-run resort here and develop Lambasingi as a tourism hub. Lately, this place has seen an increase in the number of tourists. Near to Lammasingi there is a beautiful waterfall attracting the visitors. Lammasingi Waterfalls is near to Bodakondamma Temple. It is on ghat road from Narsipatnam to Lammasingi. This waterfall looks very narrow and like a shower and it is nearly 5 km.

Those who are interested in hill climbing, this is the right place for them. In Lammasingi, local people forming Apple Trees and Dragon Fruit Trees. To reach this place, there are number of Buses, Cabs and Auto Rickshaws are available from Narsipatnam City.

Punyagiri Hill
is located just 2 kms from Ushasree Residency, S.Kota, Punyagiri Hill is of one of the oldest Shiva temples. The waterfalls and the temple of Sri Uma Kotilingeswara Swami are situated on the hills of Punyagiri, One of the most unique features of this temple is the Shivalingam which is bathed by the underground water source. Good place for Trekking, Nice Calm & Hill Area. It's been said that Pandavas stayed at Punyagiri during their “Ajnata Vasam” to hide from Kauravaas, and also it's been said that they kept all their “Ayudha’s” here at Punyagiri

Anantagiri is a village on the main Vizag - Araku road and it is further 3 KM from Borra Junction. From Ananthagiri market you have to take a left turn to enter into village road which will pass through two villages and ends at waterfall which is at a distance of 2 KM from the main road if you are staying at Anatagiri resort you can go for a walk and reach the waterfall there is a parking fee of Rs 15 collected by locals 

You can go down and reach the foot of the waterfall and take bath in flowing water over rocks. 

Walking through the local villages is another attraction of visiting this waterfall. From Ananthagiri you can walk this 2 KM to reach the waterfall.
